Apply for the 2024 University of Dundee Humanitarian Scholarships in Scotland. The University of Dundee is collaborating with the Scottish Refugee Council and the University of Sanctuary to offer several scholarship to eligible students who are panning to pursue a Master’s programme at the University of Dundee.
The scholarship offers selected applicants the opportunity to study for a postgraduate degree at the university. This scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver for the year of study, plus a monthly stipend and accommodation worth up to £40,000
The University of Dundee is several scholarships to selected applicants for the 2024/25 academic year. These scholarships are dedicated to postgraduate studies. The Scholarship is offered for the full duration of a one year taught Master’s degree programme at the University of Dundee. Applicants for the scholarship must apply for admission and receive an offer for one of the following Master’s degree programme. Please see full list here
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive the following benefits
- If you are successfully selected, you will receive a full tuition fee waiver for 1 year of study worth up to to £22,950
- Selected applicants will also receive a monthly living stipend to cover their living costs while in the UK
- You will receive a monthly allowance for accommodation in line with the University Accommodation amount.
- Applicants can chose to stay on campus, or in private residence since accommodation allowance will be paid directly to students, who are then responsible for paying their accommodation provider.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be applicants with one of the following tuition fee status: Scottish, RUK, EU and International (Please see full list here)
- You must apply and receive an academic offer for a postgraduate taught programme starting September 2024.
- The degree programme must be a full 180 credit, taught, on campus, with a duration of one year.
- You must hold a Refugee or Asylum Status, or Humanitarian Protection as recognized by the 1951 UN Convention on the Status of Refugees.
Application
In order to apply, you are advised to follow the following procedure.
- There is a separate application form that must be completed by applicants if they are to be considered for this scholarship
- You must download the application form from the University of Dundee website, after completing the self-verification checks.
- Complete the application form which must then be submitted in addition to the main programme application.
- The University will verify documentation submitted to evidence the applicants Residential Category and Immigration Status., alongside any information submitted as part of the main programme application.
