Apply for the Lithuanian State Scholarships for International Students. The Education Exchanges Support Foundation is offering up to 100 Scholarships to students from selected eligible countries who wish to Master’s degree Studies in Lithuania. Scholarships are offered to pursue s full time Master’s degree or part-time studies equivalent to a Master’s degree programme at Lithuanian higher education institutions.
Scholarships are dedicated to International candidates from selected countries as well as Foreigners of Lithuanian Origin from non-EU and EFTA countries, who already posses a Bachelor’s degree and have applied and received an offer to study a Master’s degree programme at a University in Lithuania. The scholarship offers a Study grant to cover the full cost of your tuition fees together with a monthly scholarship to cover your daily living expenses.
Remember, you must first apply and receive an offer for a Master’s degree programme of your choice, before you can apply for the scholarship. Applicants must be students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Georgia, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Moldova, Ukraine as well as Foreigners of Lithuanian Origin from non-EU and EFTA countries
Benefits
If selected for the scholarship, you will be eligible for the following benefits.
- The scholarship offers either a monthly scholarship or both a monthly scholarship and a study Grant depending on your country of origin.
- A monthly scholarship is worth 550 euros and is meant to cover your daily expenses.
- Study grant on the other hand covers the study cost of your selected degree program
- The awarding committee is offering a monthly scholarship and a study grant to students from the following countries
- 20 grants to students from Ukraine
- 10 grants to students form Belarus
Eligibility
To Apply for this scholarship programme, you must meet the following conditions
- Applicants must be students from one of the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Georgia, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Moldova, Ukraine as well as Foreigners of Lithuanian Origin from non-EU and EFTA countries.
- You must be planning to study for a Master’s degree programme at a Higher Education Institution in Lithuania
- Applicants must have applied and received an offer for their preferred degree programme
- You must hold a Bachelors degree by the end of the 2023/24 academic year.
- Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in Lithuanian, English or any other language in which their studies are being conducted. The acceptable language proficiency is a minimum B2 level.
- You must not have already received a Master’s degree if you are to be considered.
Application
Remember, to apply for the scholarship, you must first apply for your preferred Master’s degree programme and receive an offer as well as an acceptance letter as his is key to completing your application.
The first selection round requires students to complete the online application and submit the required support documents. The application and the documents must be submitted in either Lithuanian or English.
In the second selection round, candidates who pass the first round will be requested to submit their Degrees, Diplomas and transcripts of records for their previously completed academic studies to the Lithuanian Higher education Institution they are planning to study at.
The Higher education Institution will asses these results and submit an assessment report to the selection committee at et Education Exchange Support Foundation.
