Apply for the Danish Government Scholarship for International Students at the University of Southern Denmark. University of Southern Denmark offers the Danish Government Scholarship – supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science – to certain applicants in recognition of the important investment that oversea students make during their education.
The scholarship consists of two parts: full tuition fee waiver and a grant, to help cover living costs amounting to DKK 3000 per month before taxes.

Eligibility
Candidates from a non-EU/EEA country applying for one of the following Engineering Master’s programme in Sønderborg (programme start in autumn) and be eligible to pay tuition fees:
MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics
You can apply if you hold a similar, relevant degree within Science or Engineering. Below you will find the course areas listed which your degree must cover as a minimum to be considered for each of the four profiles in the programme.
Cyber Physical Systems
- Thermodynamics, 5 ECTS
- Mechanical design, statics, dynamics and 3D CAD, 15 ECTS
- Digital Electronics, 5 ECTS
- Programming, 5 ECTS
Devices and Microtechnology
- Thermodynamics, 5 ECTS
- Analog Electronics including project work, 15 ECTS
- Materials and Processes, 5 ECTS
Embedded Systems
- Digital Design and micro controllers including project work, 10 ECTS
- Embedded programming including project work, 10 ECTS
- Analog Electronics, 5 ECTS
Power Electronics
- Power Electronics, 5 ECTS
- Analog Electronics including project work, 15 ECTS
- Digital Electronics, 5 ECTS
- Programming, 5 ECTS
MSc in Engineering – Innovation and Business
You can apply if you hold a similar, relevant degree within Science or Engineering. To be considered, your degree must include a minimum of:
- 15 ECTS in Mechanical design, statics, dynamics and 3D CAD
- 10 ECTS in Electronics
- 10 ECTS in Programming
- 5 ECTS in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Business administration or Innovation management
MSc in Engineering – Electronics
You can apply if you hold a similar, relevant degree within Science or Engineering. To be considered, your degree must include a minimum of:
- 15 ECTS in Mathematics
- 15 ECTS in Physics, mechanics and electro physics
- 40 ECTS in Electronics, analogue and digital
- 10 ECTS in Signal processing, control and regulation
- 10 ECTS in Programming and simulation tools
Application
The scholarships will be awarded to the best qualified of the eligible applicants. All eligible applicants who are offered a study place, will automatically be considered for the scholarship
